I have added a new element to our Friday routine - Dictation Test! It will not consist of a list of words to study but instead it will be made up of passwords and cvc words. I will also be giving them a challenge sentence to try to write. Today we had our first test and the scores will be going home today. If you do not get your child's paper back it is because their paper will be on display at Open House (Jan. 31st) on our classroom's Wall of Fame bulletin board. If you noticed that your child only got a few correct please practice having them write cvc words at home as you call them out (ex. rat, lip, got, etc).
