Attention Photo Bugs

Just a fyi, I am in the process of uploading ALL of the pictures that I have taken throughout the year onto the walmart.com photo website. From this site, you will be able to order any pictures that you would like. However, do not get ahead of yourself and start ordering because on the last day of school I will be sending each child home with a few pictures of themselves as well as a class photo.

Once the pictures are uploaded I will post the link.

Thanks :)

Library Field Trip

On Wednesday, May 19th, we have the opportunity to visit the Arlington Library (located on Green Oaks/Kelly Elliot). We will be taking a tour of the library, have story time, and learn all about the library's summer program.

**
I made a mistake. Our class will be at the library at 9am not 11:30am.

Butterflies and Bees

We wrote facts and opinions about bees. We made a
"feel me" life cycle of a butterfly.
Our insect garden!

Random Updates

Sarah made me a beautiful necklace
made out of potato chunks for
teacher appreciation week.
Watching the volcano explode!

baking soda + vinegar = eruption

Garrett brought in the volcano that he made
at camp to share with the class. It was really cool!

Trey brought in a leaf that apparently had
been a caterpillar's lunch!

Bug Hunt

Bilaal using his Bug Hunt Checklist.

We found ants on the tree.

Kristy looking at bugs in the grass.

Mia found a leaf that she thought looked
like a ladybug. I definitely see the resemblance.

Bilaal holds a little bug.

Running to see the ladybugs.

The deceased moth that Alexa found.

We saw tons of june bugs on our bug hunt.
We located its head, thorax,
abdomen, six legs,and feelers.
We had a very successful bug hunt! We found bugs in the trash, under rocks, on leafs, in the grass, crawling on the school, in plants, etc. Too bad we didn't spot our moth friend that we found on our plant hunt.
