Week of September 12-16

This week our letter was Mm. We made a Mm word web, studied the Animalia letter Mm page, graphed our Mm show n tell, graphed the names that start with Mm, sorted by the Mm sound and read silly books (If you Give a Moose a Muffin and Monsters Need Haircuts too). Our password was we and we wrote sentences using we. In math, we were working on sorting. We sorted everything from bugs to pom poms. We also made glittery pretzel freedom necklaces, a replica of the US flag made out of the kindergartener's handprints and discuss what freedom really means. It was a fantastic week!

Mariah, Emmy and Ava work on writingpasswords during reading group time.
