Week of Nov. 14-18

pictures are in random order :)

We took turns singing "Hello, Mr.Turkey".. we sang it
really fast, normal and realllllyyy slllooww

We danced around in our Native American attire to

Native American music.

We had a lot of fun on our turkey trot!

Emmy and Jake were

voted to be the Native American tribe leaders.

I love their homemade shirts!

We made Native American necklaces (we used symmetry)

Check out the FANTASTIC Independent Study Character Projects:

I was blown away! The kids got to present their projects

in front of Mrs. Petty, Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Stewart and Mr. Degar.

They got rave reviews!

Somehow a congo line started in my room this morning...

Everyone got to take their picture

with the turkey and a pilgrim.

Earlier in the week, we made headbands.

I opted out of using real feathers and we water colored

our own feathers instead.

(fyi: more and more birds are being killed

in order to keep up with the high demand for feathers...

so we went with the animal friendly version)

Hala turned 6 on 11/15

Dancing around to Turkey Time!
