Our theme for the next two weeks is plants. We will be discussing the parts of plants, edible plants, a plant’s needs, how plants get food, how plants reproduce, and why plants are important. A great at home extension would be to let your child plant their own seed and watch it grow into a plant. Working together in the garden is always so much fun and it is a great learning experience!
In math, we will be starting Topic 13: Measurement. We will compare objects by size, length, capacity, area, and weight. A great way to make to incorporate measurement math skills at home is to let your child help you cook or build something together.

Spring is here and the weather is starting to get warmer. Please remember that spaghetti straps tank tops are not to be worn without a cover up. Also, we encourage our girls to wear shorts under their skirts and dresses. This will enable them to participate in PE and recess with ease.
Notes from your teacher:
Donations of dry erase markers and folders with brads would greatly be appreciated.
