Pattern math centers:

the group is working on creating movement patterns

Cody uses pattern blocks to create patterns

Logan uses bingo markers to create patterns
Eva uses marbles to create and extend patterns

The group is working on matching and then extending
the pattern puzzles.

The bingo stamper center was a big hit!
Every morning this was everyone's favorite center to do.

Turkey and Thanksgiving activities:

Read above to see what the kiddos are thankful for.

The class singing "Hello, Mr. Turkey"

hello mr. turkey how are you?
hello mr. turkey how are you?
with a gobble gobble gobble
and a waddle waddle waddle
hello mr. turkey how are you?

Another favorite was the Harry Kindergarten youtube
video "Turkey Time"... this was a big hit!

We read the book "A Turkey for Thanksgiving"
and then created our own signs to trick
fellow turkey eaters into eating something other than
turkey for Thanksgiving.

We used picture dictionaries to make a list of
what foods we like to eat at Thanksgiving.

Becoming Native Americans:

We discussed symmetry and then used
dyed macaroni noodles to create symmetrical necklaces.

The headbands were created with patterns.
We added two feathers for the final touch.
