VCE (vowel, consonant, -e)

I have to post about my proud teacher moment I had this morning. We were practicing spelling words by sounding them out. We were writing sentences for our "How to Make a Valentine" book. Our first sentence was "First he got his supplies" and they did great sounding out all of the words. When we were spelling supplies, we wrote "suplis" because that is what it sounds like. Then Evan said, "Mrs. Hendrix you need to add an e at the end because the i is saying it's name." I was so proud that he remembered that!! This class amazes me every day!
