Newsletter Weeks 20-21


Kindergarten Newsletter
Week 20-21
Jan. 25-Feb. 6

Our theme for the next two weeks is the earth’s resources. We will discuss conservation, the importance of recycling, the earth’s natural resources, and the earth’s many features (prairies, deserts, mountains, ice caps, bodies of water, etc).In math, we will finish up Topic 8: Addition and Subtraction.
We will begin Topic 9: Numbers to 20. Please practice writing, reading and recognizing the numbers 0-20 with your child at home to ensure their success.

Feb. 9th: Kindergarten Program
Feb. 12th: Valentine’s Party (1:45-2:45)

Kindergarten Program:
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, Feb. 9th at 7pm for the kindergarten program. We hope many will attend. If you plan on your child participating, please arrive at 6:30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Notes from your teacher:
Please make sure that you are practicing the passwords with your child. Knowing these words is imperative in helping your child become a successful reader.
